A Green Dragon volunteer training with heavy horses. Co-ops are an excellent example of how true democratic principles can be applied to the community and economy. The Co-op structure of Green Dragon means that all full time workers own and control the company, share the responsibilities of management and have an equal say in how the company develops. At Green Dragon we are proud to be one of a growing number of organisations that have combined the long-standing co-operative tradition of social responsibility with the ever-urgent requirement of environmental responsibility.

Green Dragon is a not-for-profit workers Co-op registered as a Ltd Company. All the money made, after the running costs, is put into projects that benefit British woodland habitat and promote organic, sustainable living. Only those projects that meet Green Dragon’s strict criteria are considered.
